SkyTour - Pegasus

Cepheus Andromeda

Pegasus contains one of the sky's most prominent asterisms - the Great Square of Pegasus. Pegasus' great square is made up of four stars that form an almost perfect rectangle. While these stars are not that bright, they are in an area almost void of any other stars and easily stand out against the blackness. While the Great Square is easy to find, the rest of the constellation is more difficult to pick out.

According to the Greeks, Pegasus was formed from Medusa's blood after Perseus beheaded it.
